Info
All of my hacks will start you at the first battle of the story, in Gariland
Magic City. They're all in DexDrive format, allowing those with a DexDrive to
actually play them on their PlayStation.
Except for the Cloud & Elmdor hack, all of the following add 1 character to
your party, in the 8th Character Slot.

Their tools, and SVolo's doc, helped me hack the characters properly, as well
as get them on to my PSX's mem card.
Cloud & Elmdor -
OK, I can't really take any credit here, as all I did was combine Sl1me's
Cloud hack with DK's Elmdor hack. Anyway, this hack will add Cloud as a Level
1 Soldier and Elmdor as a Level 1 Arc Knight. Cloud comes with his Materia
Blade so that he can do his Limit Breaks. Elmdor comes with his Masamune, and
a full set of Genji armor. While this make him more powerful (300+ HP!) than
the rest of your party, it also stays true to the powerhouse that Elmdor is.
It does have a limit, however: Elmdor can never do his special Arc Knight
attacks. Finally, in the Battle Formation and non-battle Formation screens,
Elmdor uses Ramza's sprite. At first glance, it will look like you have 2
Ramza's in your party.
Alma -
Alma has been added to the party as a Level 1 Cleric. I've fixed the
always invisible glitch.
Teta -
Teta has been added to the party as a Level 1 Holy Priest, since with
her default job of Delita's Sis, she will always start a battle dead, but
with full HP. AFAIK, it isn't possible to make her start not dead. Her sprite
in the Battle Formation and non-battle Formation screens is still some
pig-tailed girl. As Delita's Sis, her command is Magic, and all that has is
Cure and Wish. Since they're healing abilities, I made Teta a Holy Priest,
which has the default command of White-Aid. If you equip her with a sword,
she will be able to use the other abilities in her job listing.
Olan -
This hack adds Olan as a Level 1 Astronomer.
Balk -
This hack adds Balk as a Level 1 Engineer. Balk is one of the New Zodiac
Braves, and as such, is immune to certain status effects. As soon as I know
exactly which ones, I'll let you know.
Celia -
This hack adds Celia as a Level 1 Assassin. This Celia seems to work properly.
If you use a GameShark to add Celia, it glitchs & crashes the game. No idea
why. The only problem I've noticed with this version is that on the Battle
Formation screen, she's a big, ugly, grey square. Not really a problem though.
If this hack crashes your PSX, please let me know...
Dycedarg -
This hack adds Dycedarg as a Level 1 Lune Knight. As a Lune Knight, Dycedarg
permenantly has Defense Up and Magic Def UP. Small note: It turns out that
the job name is supposed to be Rune Knight. Those clazy Japanese
tlansrations!
Izlude -
This hack adds Izlude as a Level 1 Knight Blade. Izlude is one of the New
Zodiac Braves, and as such, is immune to certain status effects. As soon as I know
exactly which ones, I'll let you know.
King Delita -
This hack adds Delita as a Level 1 Arc Knight. This is the final form of
Delita, in his kingly attire.
Kletian -
This hack adds Kletian as a Level 1 Sorceror. Kletian is one of the New
Zodiac Braves, and as such, is immune to certain status effects. As soon as I
know exactly which ones, I'll let you know.
Lede -
This hack adds Lede as a Level 1 Assassin.
Ovelia -
This hack adds Ovelia as a Level 1 Princess.
Rofel -
This hack adds Rofel as a Level 1 Divine Knight. Rofel might be one of the
New Zodiac Braves, because he is Vormav's henchman, and is immune to certain
status effects. As soon as I know exactly which ones, I'll let you know.
Vormav -
This hack adds Vormav as a Level 1 Divine Knight. As leader of the New Zodiac
Braves, he is immune to certain status effects. As soon as I know exactly
which ones, I'll let you know.
Wiegraf and Wiegraf 2 -
The first hack adds Wiegraf as a Level 1 White Knight, while the 2nd one adds
him as a Level 1 White Knight after having been possesed by Lucavi.
Zalbag and Zalbag 2 -
The first hack adds Zalbag as a Level 1 Arc Knight, while the 2nd one adds
him as a Level 1 Arc Knight after having been possesed by Lucavi.
Zalmo -
This hack adds Zalmo as a Level 1 Holy Priest. His default command is
White-Aid. If you equip him with a sword, he will be able to use the other
abilities in his job listing.
Other Hacks
I can now hack Simon into the game, but there are limits. Since his
default class of Bishop has no commands, he'll only be able to use attacks
from the secondary command set. He also can't equip anything while a Bishop.
About the only thing this is good for is getting his sprite. This same
limitation also applies to Larg, Goltana, Funeral, Draclau, Barinten,
Balmafula, Rudvich, Ajora, and Altima (both forms).
If there's someone you'd like hacked into your party, lemme know, and
I'll see what I can do. Note: No, you can NOT add Aeris. Her sprites are not
located in the right directory on the CD, nor does she have any battle
ANYTHING (animations, commands, etc.). The ONLY way you have any hope of
getting Aeris into your party is to dump the FFT CD to your HDD, hack one of
the characters into her, and burn it to a CD, which then won't play on a PSX
without a mod chip. If you have the free time and knowledge to do this, I
salute you.
