7:24a ~ New Year, New Look
 Old news.

  First off, some good news: Proof that the XBox sucks (like we needed any proof!). According to an article at MSNBC, "Hundreds of XBoxes were defective." (they need to change that "were" to "are"...) Some never ran at all, and other quickly gave the greenscreen (that's the XBox's version of the Windows Bluescreen). And, to put the cherry on top, MS gave horrible customer service. All I have to say is: HAHAHA! Serves your stupid asses right for buying an XBox! Morons.

  Next up, I've been working away at the forums. If you haven't registered (or reregistered, since I had to delete everything to upgrade), now would be a good time. Here's a quick list of things I've done:

  • I've added an option to choose a minipic from a list of images, that will automatically add it to your account, just like the avatar picker thing.
  • Speaking of the avatar picker thing, I've added over 500 avatars, in 11 categories.
  • I've also added the first of 2 Final Fantasy IX schemes. This one is based on the "classic" blue color setting from the game. The other one will be based on the default grey colors.
  • Various minor tweeks to the code, to make it run like I want.

      Work on my FF1 hack has halted for a moment, while I get the forums customized. I have posted some screenshots in the EDS ROM Hacks section of the forums. And Happypeepeehead has volunteered his artistic skillz to make some custom graphics for the hack. Meanwhile, I'm relaxing by playing Chrono Cross, one of two games I got for Christmas (the other being Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for PSX).

      Finally, I'll be changing the poll soon, so that I can get your opinion of this new layout.

      Quick update. I've added Tzar's Custom Characters, Pack 1 to the Hackster Tilesets page.

      I'm not feeling too good right now, so that's all for this update.
